Product Description

Kilned lager-Style malt with full body, amber color, and smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is strongly malty and the rich aroma has notes of light caramel, honey, and bread. Munich malt is typically used in dark lagers and ales, especially Munich-style lagers, various bock styles, and German festival beers like, Festbier, and Märzen.

Salzgitter Munich is German Grown and malted.

Sensory: The flavor is strongly malty and the rich aroma has notes of caramel, honey, and bread.

As a major component: up to 80% (some brewers go 100%, but it has lower enzyme activity, so conversion can be slow or incomplete unless mashed warm/long or blended with a lighter malt).

For amber/brown beers: 20–50% gives strong malt backbone and copper-amber color.

As a flavor booster: 5–15% adds color and malt sweetness to pale lagers or ales.

Features

  • Salzgitter German Munich
  • 10-11°L
  • USAGE RATE: UP TO 100%
